Modern medicine has its place in treating physical illness, but so too do alternative healing methods such as Crystal healing, Reiki, Shamanism, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage, psychology etc.

These alternative-healing methods used in conjunction with modern medicine can treat not just the physical body but also the subtle bodies. The Subtle bodies closest to your physical bodies are the etheric, emotional, and the mental bodies. These bodies can be affected by what is happening in the physical body but the physical body can also be affected by what happens in the subtle bodies.

This is where Crystal Healing and energy healing such as Reiki comes into play. Energy in its simplest form is vibration. Our physical bodies are controlled and manipulated by energy in the form of nerve synapses, thought patterns, emotions, and even cellular activity. We are built to operate at certain levels of energy and when that energy is disrupted the resulting disturbance shows up as illness in our physical body.
Things that disrupt our energy are physical damage, emotional damage, and outside influences such as environmental damage created by pollution, bad nutrition, even negative thoughts of others.

The general thought among Crystal Healers and Healers of all types is that if thoughts and emotions can make you ill they can also make you well. The main component of using our thoughts to heal is the belief that it will work. This component is called our intent. Another component of healing is visualization.  Visualization is seeing in your mind the healing energy, seeing the healing as the energy flows.
By using thought, intent and visualization the Crystal healer and Reiki practitioner can manipulate the energy patterns in the subtle bodies.

 What is Crystal Healing

Crystals and gemstones are a gift to us from the earth. Early people thought there was magic in the crystals and stones. Instinctively many people were able to sense and manipulate the natural energy inherent in all crystals. Today's scientist has proven that crystals can be made to vibrate by exposing them to an energy source. This vibration can be controlled and directed. In crystal healing the Crystal healer acts as a conduit for  energy directing and guiding the energy.  Using the crystals and gemstones the Crystal healer can manipulate the energy of the subtle bodies to effect healing in the physical body.

Crystal Healing is an ancient form of healing. The early Crystal Healers were medicine men and Shamans, their knowledge passed down from teacher to student for generation. The question of crystal healing as science or magic is still in dispute today. Crystals have a long connection with religion and spirituality. In the Bible It describes the breastplate of the priest and the 12 crystals used to make it. Crystal are mentioned many times in the Bible. Myth and Stories tell of the Crystal Healing done in the temples of Atlantis and of the crystals used to power the cities of Atlantis.  In Crystal Healing each crystal is thought to have a specific vibration and metaphysical property.
In Crystal Healing the type of crystal and color of crystal can be used to open, activate, align and balance the chakras or energy centers in the body. By matching color of the stone to a specific chakra you can manipulate the energy in that chakra. Color and type of crystal can also be matched to specific organs in the physical body to manipulate the energy in that organ to help return its energy patterns to those of optimal operation according to it universal blueprint condition.

As Crystal healers we can also use tuning forks in conjunction with the crystal to elicit certain vibrational frequencies to be used for healing. Crystal healing bowls can be used in the same way as they are tuned to specific frequencies.

A crystal is a solid formed by a three dimensional pattern of atoms, ion and molecules. All crystals are mineral and some say all minerals are crystals. The pattern or form of crystal is determined by its growth pattern and its growing environment. Things needed by a crystal to form or grow are water, base mineral, heat and time. The mineral the crystal is comprised of will often determine the shape of the form.

What are Minerals

A mineral is an inorganic solid substance having a specific chemical composition. The combination of base elements determines the chemical composition. A mineral can be a single element or as many as three or four elements or more. Some elements are fossil remains of plant material that have become inorganic. Example of mineral are Gold, carbon, silicon, silver, copper. Fossils are organic material that has become inorganic in that the organic material has been replace by minerals from the surround area. The exception to this rule are tree resins which are an organic material sometimes referred to as mineral. Example of this is Amber which is a fossil that retains it organic state.

What is a gemstone.

A gemstone is a crystal or mineral that is exceptionally pure in color, clarity or structure. Gemstones can be man-made copies of a natural mineral. All gemstones are treated to enhance color, cut to enhance shape and remove imperfection. Often when a seller is describing a crystal for sale the will refer to its clarity, form or refer to it as gem quality. Gemstone are graded by It cut, clarity, and caret(size) and color. Reiki means spiritually guided life energy. It has been said that Reiki is not just spiritually guided but guided by our higher self or possibly even God himself.
 Anyone can be attuned to use Reiki. As with any energy healing it must be use with the highest good and intent for the person being healed. Once you are attuned to Reiki you are attuned for the rest of your life. You do not have to do anything to make the Reiki energy flow through you. You just visualize it flowing and it flows. You do not have to touch a person to heal with Reiki, you do not have to be in the same room with the person you want to heal. You can heal animals with Reiki. You can charge crystals with Reiki

Because Reiki is energy you can send it anywhere and it will get there. Reiki was not invented, it has always been there. It has always been used in one way or another through out time. Reiki can enhance other types of healing and other types of healing can enhance Reiki. Because Reiki is so versatile it can be used in many ways. Reiki is very good for working with the chakras and the subtle bodies. It can be used to heal the Aura (the energy field-Life energy-Ki) surrounding the physical body.
 Reiki always works, you may not feel it right away but it will work. Sometimes it takes several sessions to complete a healing. The person you are treating may have very mild to even very strong symptoms of physical detoxing after healing sessions. Not just physically but emotionally. It helps to remove negative energy caused by emotional distress.

Often Reiki is used to help ease the passing of those about to cross over into spirit.  It removes the confusion the spirit feels between one state of existence and the other.  It can be use on a person before surgery to speed healing during recovery.

Todays Reiki was first developed and used by Master Usui.
There are many web sites with biography's of Master Usui, so I will not delve into his history here, But the one thing I have notice about Reiki is that it adapts well to use through intuition.
